Destroyer Chem question-too detailed?

I remember making these tables in gchem (ex: destroyer chem #146) but don't think we'll have to for any problems on test day.


Please correct me if I'm wrong and then I will go study it more. 😴

i didnt have anything remotely that complicated...dont worry about the calculations, they are very simple/straighforward.

The table just helps to prevent any errors, and it's good for book keeping.

However, equilibrium problems w/ calculations are fair game. Just because people have reported easy calculation problems doesn't mean anything. Your version might be different. The truth of the matter is that people have reported crazy quantitative based gchem sections in the past. Even though this isn't the norm...it is possible. I know someone who took their DAT around dec of last year and he said it was pretty heavy in calculations.

In my opinion, you have nothing to lose by learning that problem and everything to lose by not knowing it.

thanks for the answers.

I realize everything is fair game in these essential study guides but even if I fly through bio somehow I always loose my time lead in chem so I always end up doing ochem in like less than 15 min and thus do not score as well as I think I can! I always get hung on such chem problems with more calculations.

*sigh* guess I just I still gotta get faster or just make those educated guesses on move on.

yea same here...chem bothers me alot! but i dont let it affect my ochem questions coz i know i am better at ochem than chem...i know it takes me about 20-25 mins to do ochem so i follow according to time and skip all those crazy gchem calc questions and move on. If you have time you can always come back to those!
