How do I find the square root of .0012 by hand?? 🙁

square root of .0012 is the same thing as square root of 12 x 10^-4. Now square root of 12 is between the square root of 9 and 16 so the answer has to be somewhere between 3 and 4. So you can guess it'd be close to 3.5. and the square root of 10^-4 is 10^-2. (That's something you should know)

So the answer is 3.5 x 10^-2 = 0.35
