# 203 in bio says enzymes willl not alter product concentrations, delta G nor Keq. But # 142 in chem says a catalyst will increase the specific rate constant. But if an enzyme is a catalyst how can it increase the specific rate constant ?

Enzymes can alter the rate constant k. This can be seen in the arrhenius equation but an enzyme will not change Keq. Do not get these confused. K which is the equilibrium constant is only affected by temperature.
