I understand the solution. But we don't need to check entropy in thiis kind of question? Less molecules in reactants to the more molecules in products. ?
 
My input on this is based on what i know,
In any reaction if the reactants have been taken away the equilibrium shift attempts to make up for that loss.
Therefore if reactants are taken away, less products are made to make up for that loss.
If products are removed, then less reactants are made and more products formed to make up for that loss.
