#46...does anyone know why hydrogen bonding would cause the solid-liquid line to be skewed to the left in a phase diagram of P vs T? I would think that it would skew to the right b/c of the higher temp. required to break the hydrogen bonds. Any help?
Water has extensive hydrogen bonding, and its S-L phase line is skewed to the left..but i thought that was due to the fact that ice is less dense than water.
