Q: A bowl contains 1000 tickets numbered, between 1 and 1000. What is the probability that a number is between 10 and 90?

A: 81/1000

My question: With the way it is worded it seems as though 10 and 90 are NOT included in the set, or am I reading it wrong? If so then how owuld they word it so that we know 10 and 90 are not included?

Normally they say 'exclusive' to indicate the end numbers are included. In this case I would probably decide that they wanted me to include them.
