Hi
So the answer is aromaticity enhance the carbocation. I understand that but i do not understand why benzene ion is not aromaticity. According to Kaplan, aromaticity defined as cyclic, conjugated double bond, planar, and Hund's rule. Benzene even its ion have all that. But in destroyer its answer is "horrible."
Can anyone help me to explain why benzene ion is not aromatic
