DESTROYER or ACHIEVER

Looking to get one of these. i know this debate has been exhausted but which do you think is more like the real one? also does anyone have either that they want to sell? if so, please pm me! thanks!

First off even though i am a fan of the DAT Destroyer because it is indeed a great tool for the sciences it doesnt have the PAT and its not timed questions so to be honest so you dont feel sorry in the end i would invest in both of them that way you know you did everything possible in preparation for the DAT. Gluk!!

i have only used achiever and it is amazing. i have not used the DAT destroyer but people say it's amazing. For me, I was told that if I could master the Kaplan blue book and get hold of those kaplan subject tests and carefully go over the answers, understanding why the correct answer is correct and why the other choices are wrong and how they could be right if you switched the question a little bit can be an amazing tool.

I supplemented the bio part (for plant bio) with schaum's outline. my TS was a 23 and dat destroyer was not used. but other members have done exceptionally well with destroyer.

Achiever was great because it actually had some questions on it that came up on the DAT. A couple of those questions I'm certain I would have missed had it not been for my review of it.

The DESTROYER will definitely give you the upperhand on the sciences. However, Achiever I hear is great too. I'm taking my test in about 3 weeks, and I plan on getting Achiever later on in the game to get some more practice in. It's just $50 more....I mean I spent $1000+ for Kaplan...I can spend another 50 bucks for chances for a better score.

As far as the DESTROYER goes, I would highly recommend it. I was definitely skeptical at first since it's not some big company like topscore or kaplan, but I would say that makes it even more awesome because the DESTROYER is for the DAT and only the DAT! As for topscore and kaplan, I'm sure they're using the same stuff for MCAT, PCAT, OAT, etc. And Dr. Romano and Nancy are there for you every step of the way. I've got 3 weeks to go, and my plan is to review the kaplan book, do topscore and achiever, and every moment before, in between, and after, do DESTROYER problems left and right over and over. DESTROYER doesn't give you the timed practice tests like the other programs, but I guarantee you the material will be more useful! I was always suspicious, just like how a lot of people are, of how people would come on here and advertise the DESTROYER, but now i know it's just regular students like you and me that used it and is now just helping spread the word about a great product!

Ditto for both Achiever and Destroyer. I would say Destroyer had more questions in it that were actually on the DAT...especially on info that you will not see in Kaplan or any other study guide for that matter. Buy both, I guarantee you will not regret it.
