Hey, guys.

So in problem 78, I don't understand why the double bond forms where it forms (after being treated with a hindered base ) instead of forming d.b. in the ring on the alpha C to where CH3 and Br are at. I thought E2 favor more stable alkene formation.

If you have a bulky base, you have to do anti zaitsev.
