Anyone know how did we end up with t-butylalcohol in problem 97 on orgo.I don't understand the whole thing,i just don't know how did we get the third CH3! and beside how the heck OC2H5 left all of the sudden.Thanks

Thank you.It really helped.Some of the Qs in this book are really not clear.For example here,he did not mention how many moles of the reactant,we have to assume!
There are other Qs which are not clear as well,but over all very nice.
