Hi all,
Can someone explain to me why the values for n (total number of trials) and r (number of trials having desired result) differ from the first part of the equation and the following exponents?
P= (nCr)(P)^n(1-P)^r
the answer uses N=3 and R=2 for nCr but 2 and 1 for the exponent values.
thanks in advance
