I have the 2007 version of the Destroyer from when I took the DAT back in the day......how out of date is that version?

I was just told by the people who sell the Destroyer "Your book is very outdated and you are at a great disadvantage with a 2007 edition." If they have revamped the whole destroyer I would probably consider buying but if they have just added questions on to the version I have I would prefer not to spend another $200 for an extra 150 questions.

My version has:
282 Bio Questions
182 G-Chem Questions
178 Organic Question

Thanks for the input.....

I don't really think you're at a disadvantage since some people don't even use the destroyer and do fine on the DAT. I have friends who used the older versions this year and they did fine as well. It's not better because of the fewer number of questions but I don't think it will be worth another $200 investment.

Shady business. "great disadvantage" is a very long stretch. But then again, nothing makes more money than spending 5 dollars to print a couple hundred pages and resell it for $200. The initial investment is already done in making the book, each book they sell now is a profit of ~$200-cost of paper, so you see the business side of things.

You lose a couple of questions, and they reshuffle the remaining questions around, but there isn't that much of a difference to play $200 more.

Yea, I laughed out loud at the response I got. I have a hard time believing that I am at a "great disadvantage". Yes they may have some new and better questions but dont make me feel like I have no chance of doing well just because I have an older version.
