Destroyer Rate law help!

During this youtube video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyQEPWTGHao&feature=fvwrel when she is finding the order of A she puts trial one over trial two in her calculations. On number 85 of the destroyer they are doing the same thing, however they invert the equations putting the larger number on top.... Why is this??

Both ways are correct as long as you setup the problem correctly. In my opinion its better if you set it up larger over smaller, which makes more sense visually.

That is a square relationship. Therefore the order is 2. How do I check? [2]^2 = 4.

This is true because you doubled the reactants of A (2) and the rate increased by 4. The square. This is not hard math that is meant to be "calculated".
