This is mostly for those who have taken the DAT before but any comments from others would be great too!
I've seen several questions in different practice materials (bootcamp, destroyer, achiever) that ask you to determine the sum of the coefficients of a redox reaction.
These problems aren't necessarily hard... I just get tripped up on the timing since it takes a while for me to write down the equations on my paper, then get the two half reactions, balance the electrons, add necessary waters then enough oxygens on each side + sum the reactions where the electrons cancel...
Do you think these kinds of balancing reactions will be on the DAT? If so, does anyone have any suggestions or tips on how to speed through these?
