Detroit Mercy Application Status?

Has anyone heard from Detroit Mercy? All I want to find out is if they received all the school transcripts and if my application is complete? But I have been unable to do that. I have tried calling them at various times but I always get the answering machine. Have they called any of you back after you left them a message?

I know that everything with detroit mercy is through letters (snail mail)....I think it's pretty tough getting hold of someone unless it's through writing...

I got an automated e-mail a few weeks ago saying that they had not looked at any applications yet because they had not yet picked their 2007 entering class, but that they would start reviewing in September. I'm sure we will hear something from them soon!

I could not stand it anymore so I went personally to their office. They were surprisingly very polite and friendly. They looked up my record and let me know that my application was complete. They also said that they have just begun to look into the applications. They also said that beginning next month they would begin to mail out monthly reports about each individual applicants application status!

(By the way they will be in their new campus starting from Jan 08).

yes keep in mind the app. process will be even slower this year because the school is moving in jan 08. Everybody at the school has a lot on their plate trying to prepare for that. I just started my DS1 year here and even when I applied things were a little slower than most schools. Dont let it frustrate you though.I think its because last year they go something like 2000 applications (many many more than they are used to)...you can have a hard time getting a hold of people at many schools. and yes they love snail mail here for some reason...i was still getting updates even after I had gotten accepted.
