Detroit Mercy interview????

So I got this email from Detroit Mercy and I was wondering if it means that I am invited to an interview or not. The thing is I am a reapplicant and they asked me to send two extra Rec. letters, but I never did. So does this mean they don't care about those 2 Rec. letters any more. Help....



The Dental Admissions Office has reviewed your application and the next step in the process is an interview. Interviews help us gain information about the applicant which is not found in the application. At the same time, the interview gives the applicant a chance to discuss factors not easily written on an application and the opportunity to learn more about our school.

Some applicants live far away from Detroit and we understand that a trip here could be expensive and time consuming. However, we feel that selection of a dental school is something that cannot be done from a catalog. You owe it to yourself to speak with faculty and students, as well as to see our school.

Interviews are conducted on most weekday mornings throughout the academic year. Please call my administrative assistant o schedule an appointment.

I think they still want them. If you do interview and are admitted, it could be a conditional one whereby they expect those LORs from you sometime before matriculation.

did they hand out all their interview invites? or are they giving them out one by one? anyone know?

I am having a reference letter issue as well, I am wondering if this could be holding up my application.

Sounds like an interview, I had a Minnesota interview where I was missing one of their letters of rec but they still interviewed me and I sent it in after the interview.

It's an interview invite. I got the same email and they are missing one of my letters of rec enough though the 14 other schools I applied to have the letter.

I never sent in my supp fee but I got an interview...I didn't know that was possible. and I got confused.

hey I am a re-applicant too and they asked me to do the same thing -- submit 2 "new" LORs for science professors. Now since I have not taken any more classes after graduation I cant do that. So they said ask the professors if they can write the letter 1 more time. 1 of the professors retired and the other wrote the letter with his TA who graduated already. So I am not going to be able to send those letters. Then they said I should write a letter to tell them why I cannot send the letters. Did you have to do the same thing too?? Did you have to write this letter to them too or did you just not send the LORs again and that was it?

I got the email as well, btu I haven't called yet. I got a letter by snail mail last week though stating that they had everything.
