So today I recieved a letter invitation inviting me to a group presentation and tour of the school for november 12. Is this like a "group" interview or is this just a tour of the school I was invited too? Anyone else get this?

hey,

I saw your AA was 17. Mine was too..i just wanted to ask you what made your score go to 17....mine was my RC score.

Just curious if you dont mind sharing.

I was also invited to this event. The event is an open house the Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry is having. It is not a group interview, more like an information session and tour of the dental school. It is open to anyone interested in their dental program. In other words, people who aren't applying this cycle can also attend, be it relatives or future applicants. A letter was sent by snail mail with an invitation to the event in it.

I went to this a few years back when i was in high school, they give a good tour of the school and present themselves well, it's deffinatly worth a consideration if you live near by but i dont think I would fly out for this and an interview, I'm sure you'll get a similar tour at the interview

Thanks for the advice. I got this too, and I'm not going to go b/c it would cost me almost $600 to go at this point. They gave us way too little notice for this, and it's not worth it if it isn't an interview

I'm waiting for an interview invitation. Otherwise, I'll keep reading and re-reading the blue folders of information they send out.

it took me a while to figure out what snailmail was as well...its just regular mail, i.e. the stuff the mailman brings...at least that's what i've assumed

Snail mail is the mail that takes days/weeks for you to get compared to e mail where you get it instantly.
