So I applied 6/8, mailing date 7/3 and have heard a few times from Detroit Mercy (all saying that they had my app, nothing was needed at that time), but just TODAY received a letter saying that my app is going to be put on hold until I send my official transcript in.. why is this the first time i'm hearing about this?

I know it's my fault for overlooking it and not knowing to send in my transcript directly to the school, but does anyone know how much longer it will take now to hear anything? Did anyone else have this issue maybe? If so, how long after you sent in your transcript did you hear anything else/interview?

(I think it's safe to say the waiting/longevity of this process is getting to me haha, but I guess we're all in the same boat) 🙄

i got a letter saying they want a transcript for my summer class.... and it says my app will remain on hold until they receive that stuff... is it even worth sending these at this point? are they seriously considering my application or what?

The ladies in the Admissions Office work extremely hard. When you step foot in the office and see what they have to deal with, you'd wonder how they manage to get it all done in a year's span.

The school goes through their admissions process at a slower pace than other schools it seems. Like I said in another topic, many students get accepted in the new year, so it's still very early in the cycle. Patience!

If I was in your shoes, I'd mail in the transcript, and then give them a call a week later to ensure that they got it.
