I'm an accounting major that's doing a full time internship/coop at a finance firm, started in May and will last until January when I go back to school to finish my last semester. I picked up a Kaplan Biology textbook and have been reading through it. I got up to the musculoskeletal section.
I'm worried about memory retention and making sure when I study it's productive. I work Monday-Friday 8-5. Gym 5-6. Then I'm supposed to study and I'm trying to think of the best way to perhaps utilize the time between 6-8/9. Right now it's just like read some stuff, play games, tv, eat, read some other stuff, but that's not working out great. If I had an actual set schedule that could keep me accountable that would be better. Example; "Friday - September 28th: Endocrine System: Hormones"
I also have some downtime at work (like now) where if I could fit in some sort of supplemental studying like taking multiple choice questions to keep my brain fresh of what I read the night before that would be great.
Just looking for some insight. My plan is to take the MCAT summer of 2013 if that's a reasonable goal. I have not taken any prereqs besides biology in freshman year.
