So how in depth are you supposed to go for development?

Is it worth going into stuff like Gray Crescents, Animal poles, etc?
 
I think the syllabus on the aamc website is a good indicator of which subjects to study and research. From my understanding it's all first year level material. Also, I would suggest studying the material from tbr. It's really good in helping you find your weaknesses.
 
Those topics were covered in my intro bio class (it's featured in Campbell Bio - the standard intro bio 101 text) so that's why I was wondering.
