hey guys, i thought i'd wander off into your corner. i have a bit of a problem that i'd like to get some information about before i go see the doc. maybe some of you can provide some insight as to what the problem might be. a little history, this has been happening on and off (mostly off) for about.. 4 years or so. what happens is that there is some pressure buildup in my left eye, usually after i yawn. if i palpate the lateral side of the eyeball with my finger i'll usually feel a tiny bit of pain. it almost feels as if my eyeball wants to burst. sometimes its really bad, other times its not. i did a quick search and found it could possibly be glaucoma. i'm only 26, is this something common for someone my age? since i'm in dental school, i havent been getting much sleep but its happened in the past when i've had way more sleep. any ideas? thanks in advance!

SDN is not the place to seek medical advice. If you're having chronic problems you need to seek out a doctor.
