How are your dictations???? I've never done them before(early 4th year) and I stated that to my resident several times and I was told " we all suck in the begining just keep doing them." I thought ok. I kept asking for feedback on how I was doing, told I was ok just keep doing the dictations "your where should be. " I get my final eval back and I get dinged for poor dictations, that the attendings had concerns. I'm fully pissed off, I ask for feedback and get it taken out on me in the eval when no feedback was given at the time of the rotation when I could do something about it. I feel like I wasted by time. Any suggestions??? Do your dictations suck or are most of you on top of it when you get to internship year

damn...dictations already. well at least you'll have some practice come first day during intern year when you discharge your first patient.

At my school we have been repeatedly forbidden from doing dictations, which makes for a difficult month as a sub-I!
