did AADSAS change dental school requirement list?

hmm this is weird. Im talking about the website above.
I copy and pasted all the requirements for the schools I want last week(it was 2008 version),
and today I just went there to check something and guess what??
they changed the couple of requirements and stuff. hmmm

just wanted to share with other per-dents who might not know this change.

i printed mine out on the 16th and i believe maryland changed too...$65 to $75 and rec letters to be sent when admission officer contacts you

Doesn't AADSAS automatically send letters of rec to every school you apply to anyway? Did this change for the 2007-2008 cycle?

they still send them out automatically but some schools want you to send them again directly.

none of the schools I applied to in the 2006-2007 cycle had this requirement.

so we pay aadsas to send the apps to the schools we chose, and then ON TOP of that we pay another fee directly to the schools?

yupyupyup. AADSAS fees + school requirements(including documents, photos, application fees, etc.)

check your school's list.

none of the schools I applied to in the 2006-2007 cycle had this requirement.

I dont know if this is new or not but for example Maryland it said I need to turn in LOR from two science professors directly to school at the same time of AADSAS turn in. BUT NOT ANYMORE they changed it.

If the people sending in LOR do it electronically to AADSAS, we then have to get them to send another letter to the schools on paper?

AADSAS should forward them both a paper and electronic version of the LOR's despite how it got to AADSAS.
