Hey guys, well sorry to clutter this allo forum here but to be honest ihave interivews at my top pic in feb... it is a regional interview for GW, and i also have an interivew in early feb at another top pic, and im just curoius if any of you got in or is feb interivews just too late to be hopeful for?? Id REALLY appreciate some words of encourgment because honestly my life is really gonna depend on getting in at one of these schools!! thanks much

Got in off a March interview. Don't worry about it.

I got into my top choice with a February Interview, so it's very possible. I know people at my school that are here from as late as March or April. It's still relatively early.

Thanks guys that is really encouraging.. congrats to you two for getting top picks.. i hope i can answer a thread like this next year! thanks much

don't sweat it- i was a late applicant (august MCAT and all that fun stuff) and had my first 3 interviews in january, none in february, 1 in march, and 5 in april, and i got into 2 of the 4 april schools where i interviewed (didn't go to one) and waitlisted by the other 2 (i ended up going to my top choice, where i interviewed in january); you have *plenty* of time.

Got into 2 schools last year after February interviews (MCPH and USC-Keck).

why is this thread moved? How ridiculous to have this in a PRE allo forum in february, as the question is if someone had recieved an acceptance POST feb interview.. hmmm that is pretty tough when its nto feb yet. This is absurd that moderators cant be alittle lenient good god

Don't go into a late interview worried that you will at best make the waitlist. If you go into the interview as confident as you would be if it were a September interview, only good things can happen, even if it is a waitlist because if you do well you'll be high on the list and get offered a spot before all is said and done. There is no difference between getting an acceptance in September and getting one in July off a waitlist, except the added stress of course. 🙂

Was accepted to MCW, Creighton U after late Feb Interviews and Chicago Med after late Jan interview. MCW and Creighton were waitlists and I was pulled from both late June/early July.

Good Luck!

what were the schools that interviewed in april?!

sp: april schools were stanford, dartmouth, uc-irvine (and i interviewed on the *very* last interviewing day for those schools- stressful!), and mcp-hahnemann. i also got an interview for chicago (finch) but chose not to go. so from my perspective, february is pretty early in the game 🙂

thanks for the info. it gives us applicants who will interview in february and beyond a lot of hope and encrouragement. good luck to everyone!
