Hey,

I got a call from PBA that I have an interview with them on the 1st Feb.
Did anyone get it or any idea what the interview there is like??
They are goning to make students write an essay and also take a small CHM/math exam. I am nervous....
My first choice is UF though I dont know what to do : 🙂(

they called me yesterday and gave me FEb 1st date but i asked for the Feb 8
just to be prepared for the interview. i don't know about the essay part but the quiz is not hard and stuff you should know by now.

pba interview

you walk in the front door of the college and someone asks you your name, they give you a name tag and and a sheet telling you what group you are in.

You walk down the hall and sit in one of the lecture halls of the school.
The Dean comes in and talks about PBA, then the school Tech manager comes in and explains about the Required HP tablet laptop PC, then you take the quiz and essay.
Both are easy as long as you know your Pharmacy conversions, and know your polyatomic ions.

Then you go upstairs and the groups split up, in whatever order you will
be interviewed by a member of the faculty, be interviewed by a student, tour the school, have a little lesson on financial aid, and look at the school from the bird's eye view.

then it's over and you can go home and relax.

Hey what is Pharmacy conversions?? What about the math section??
I am really worried can you kinda give a small example about it?
What do we wear.. Like a suite and Pants or just normal formals??

What do they ask in interview?? and after all this how long does it take to get a reply form them??

most people will be wearing a black, navy or dark grey bussiness suit.

The Interview questions will be general things like
Why do you want to be a pharmacist?
How much does Pharmacy pay influence your enthusiasm to be a pharmacist?
If you were a "insert general item here" what type of "same general item" would you be?
Do you attend church on a regular basis?
Do you understand the School's policies?
Do you have any questions for me?

The conversions are all the same ones you'd have to know to get your Tech Certification so know
ml to ounces
kg to pounds
etc.

and you might be asked to draw the structure of a Polyatomic ion or some other general chem question.

The truth ... they don't want you to be Christian, just to be comfortable in a Christian environment.

I got a letter from PBA saying that,
i am on the altenate list. as an altenate, you will be contacted should a seat become available for fall 2008. keep in mind we are not able to predict whether seats will become available and that you may be contacted at any point, up to the begening of fall semester.

what are the chances of me getting in that school?
