....or was I the only goober that failed to recognize Daylight Savings Time today?

Dropped the g/f off at the airport at 6:20AM for a 7:15AM flight... I am in the VA ICU and was off to start work at 7:00. I am getting fuel and she calls saying 'Your late for work'.... whatever, are you through security?.... '...and I missed my flight...daylight savings time'... DOH!


Not a big deal, just had to rush around a bit more for rounds and the night person spent near an extra hour on 'shift'. The g/f made it home; after sitting in the airport for 4 hours.

I was luckily told about it last night or I would have been really thrown off by the clocks being different. At least I didn't have anything I had to do today.

Thats why I always use my cell phone to check time! They automatically update the time 😎

JK, I forgot too. I woke up at "6" am today, started getting ready for work, and looked at my phone and there it was. I rushed as fast as I could so I could relieve my compadre after her 23 hour call. Was only 5 minutes late, so I didn't feel that bad, but still.

I totally forgot/never even heard about it! Fortunately my iphone is my alarm. It dutifully woke me up, but I spent the first 10 minutes wondering why it was dark and seemed much earlier before... I even had to google "daylight savings time" to confirm
