Did anyone use the Uworld qbank during MS1 and MS2?

And how was your experience? I am looking to supplement my school material with extra Step I questions. Even if it's just 100 per subject or something. I don't do great with tests covering a lot of material, so I figure if I do something while going through it, it won't be like I am just seeing all the usmle type questions for the first time. I also plan on looking at First Aid for step I while going through the material. Would FA alone be good enough for like a primer?

Thanks for all the help!

I'd suggest using Kaplan for that purpose. It's cheaper for long-term subscriptions, plus I've heard it's a little more picky, which could be good for the higher degree of minutiae during courses. Additionally, most people agree that UW should be saved until the end of studies because it's the best real prep for boards.

I'm using Uworld during M2 now. Although I did not like it at first, now that we have started to get into systems I do really like it. Its giving me a chance to go through the qbank and make annotations and just start learning from it early. It is also helping me make connections.

And I know I will forget questions. After doing thousands of questions (from the qbank itself, not to mention any other resources I use and school exams), I find it very unlikely to remember questions. Heck I do a question in the beginning of a block and forget the answer by the end of the block when I review again

Even if you did remember questions that's not a bad thing. I mean, if someone remembered all 2000 world Q's from doing them too much I don't think they are at a disadvantage compared to someone doing it once. Maybe it was productive or not but its not a disadvNtGe.
