Did being in psych help you at all if you needed a prenup prior to marriage?

With rates of divorce so high did you find assurances that you otherwise may not have had due to the many years of studying/practicing in psychiatry or l it may have contributed to divorce due to what the study below shows?


this study from johns hopkins showed psych has the highest divorce rates almost double that of surgeons?!

It should be noted that that study is 22 years old. Also, not finding the link between the study's conclusions and the title of this thread.

The study was published 22 years ago but the data are much older:
"The Hopkins team assessed the specialty choices, marriage histories, psychological characteristics, and other career and personal factors of 1,118 physicians who graduated from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 1948 through 1964."

The vast majority of today's practicing physicians are very different from those included in this study
 
Kindly delete this thread mod. I obvious am still annoyed at that whole methadone director situation which is why i cannot even create a thread applicable to the question and my source material was not applicable for today.:thinking:
