Hi guys, this might be a dumb question but I'm seriously starting to freak out.
I'm currently trying to get into NJ In-state preference schools. For my permenant residence I put my NY address, where my family lives. But for my preferred address, I put my college address, where I've been living for the past 3 years. I also have a Jersey address (seperate) registered with Jerseey's DMV, but I haven't noted that on AMCAS. Do you think the NJ medical schools will consider me in-state? Thanks.

Is your college address a dorm or apt? You may not qualify for NJ residency either way. Look into the rules

****, that doesn't sound good. I'm not even close to 24 :beat: I should've honestly just put my godmother's address. Ugh thanks guys, I'm going to go wallow now lol

You may qualify. If you are at a NJ public school now, I would ask someone in the registrar's office there

I do attend a NJ public college, and my dorm is technically an apartment. I may just have to emancipate myself, but thanks @Mansamusa I'll call my registrar and talk to them.
