I just submitted my application about a week ago. I should have all of the secondary applications in by this weekend. Should I add more schools? I am open to new schools and would like to get an acceptance this cycle.

Thanks in advance!

The only limits to applications are where you're willing to go and what you can afford. Broadly applying is never a bad idea.

Add NSUCOM since you are from FL, although I know they do some pre-screening based on MCAT sub-section cutoff scores.

I was going to apply to Nova but my Mcat was a 124 PS, 124 Cars, 125 bio, and 127 psych. I would get screened out, right?

You're a borderline applicant that applied late ish. I would get comfortable with the idea that you might not get accepted until after December so you don't drive yourself crazy.

Don't listen to the trolls.

Your app is reasonable, you have fair school list, the DO application cycle is long. You stand a good chance of finding a seat.

If there are other schools that you would seriously consider attending, add them. It does no harm, and paying an extra fee or two is much cheaper than having to go through another whole cycle.

If that list represents all the schools that you would really like to go to, then it is big enough, and you shouldn't tack on more just for the sake of it.

Thank you! I really appreciate the positive advice. I just wanted to see if I should add on more newer schools. I'm hoping my clinical experience helps me stand out a little bit.

I hear they screen at sub-sections less than 125, but I know some people on the forum who have gotten II with a sub-section below 125. However, you have 2 sub-sections below so I don't know how lenient they may be with that.

Add LMU-DCOM and the other two VCOM campuses
