I know these type of posts can be annoying but I am very worried. I took CS about a couple of weeks ago and I think i did really bad. I did all the washing hands, draping, knocking, being nice, counseled...but there are some very stupid mistakes I made:
I forgot to ask about PSH on a few and I forgot to ask about Meds on a few. On one pt I forgot to read his name on the sheet so I just went with "Sir".

I go to a US med school and I speak English with no accent obviously.

So what do you guys think? Do you think my stupid mistakes are enough for me to fail? And if so I probably wont get my scores back till Feb and my school requires me to pass to graduate. What is the best strategy to get another date?

When I took CS back in August, I forgot to do a number of things. On one exam, I got caught up in the history, ran short on time, rushed the physical and completely forgot to wash my hands. I forgot to document an abnormality afterwards. After almost every encounter, I could think of at least one question I thought I should have asked. However, I spoke well, counseled my patients and answered their questions honestly. I passed no problem, and I imagine you will too.

I am sure you passed. During my 6 hour drive home all I could think about was everything little thing I forgot, similar to stuff you did, and I passed. Relax and try not to think about it, I know its hard.

Good luck.

dude...I didnt even look in the ear of a patient with loss of hearing (there coulda been ear wax for all i know), I did the Rinne and Weber test and that's it...I still passed...

dont sweat it...it's a test of English, Personal Skills, hand washing and maybe some physical exam stuff too

good luck

Relax. More than likely you passed.
If it makes you feel better I did not ask my first 6 or so patients about allergies or FHx. I did call everyone sir or ma'am and made empathic faces when they were talking. Passed.
Everyone says this is a test of spoken english, manners, etc. I think it all boils down to whether the patient likes you or not.
