Hello. My school's premed committee sent in letters late and I just got complete today on AMCAS (August 26th). I finished my secondaries by early July and got verified in July so I did all I could to be early.....
My stats are exceedingly average (31 MCAT, 3.7 sGPA, research, volunteer, etc). I applied to mostly mid tier schools, with my top choice being University of Alabama at Birmingham. Do you think i'm fine?

I guess i'm roughly in the middle of the pack but everyone I see on SDN got complete in like July. Late August just feels...well late...🙁
I didn't complete until just a couple weeks ago and felt this way on SDN also. The verification thread is a great resource for feeling better - it is a very active thread and seeing people posting on it all the time kept me remembering that plenty of people (even on SDN) were getting verified the same time I was.
Thanks! I feel like SDN applies earlier than the applicant pool as a whole.
They do. It's one of the secret weapons SDNers have: apply as early as possible to maximize the number of IIs early on. Applying late, even with high stats, is a detriment that can be avoided very easily with good planning.
Alright thanks! I'm still kind of bummed how this happened and it was outside of my control.
