I wrote about how my parents were Vietnamese war refugees and how it shaped my perspective on life and healthcare. But now that I think about it, pretty much any first generation Vietnamese American has the same story, and we are over represented. Did I mess up? Should I write something more unique to me for my last few secondaries?

The topic is fine. Hopefully you focused on YOUR story and not that of your parents.
