Did Temple Reject or Waitlist?

Did anyone get rejected or waitlisted from Temple? I'm just curious if they only sent out acceptances or if people got rejected or wait listed too

I'm the same way, I'm really interested in Temple but don't know what to expect at this point. That's why I'm wondering if anyone has actually heard bad news?

From firsthand experience during previous cycles, no news meant bad news for me. FaceTime and showing up at their doorstep didnt help my cause. Not trying to discourage anyone from calling or visiting the school, just lending personal insight

:/ I had heard of some people that got in mid-December of last year, but I'm not sure how realistic it is at this point. From the ADEA book, I was under the impression that they accept most of their out-of-state interviewees. I don't understand where I went wrong.

Its extremely difficult to get them on the phone, only 2 people answering phones in admissions. Im rooting for you guys, hope good news surfaces in the weeks to come

Janice, we're in the same boat. I'm hearing that contacting them doesn't really do much. What strikes me as surprising is that 179/244 out of staters last year got accepted, so thats a pretty high percentage. I would really hate to know that I'm one of those 26% that didn't get accepted to one of my top schools. That'd be a shame :/

I talked to Brian quite awhile ago, I think he said if I don't hear anything by January to give him a call back.

Rejected a month ago, app and LoR and supplemental fee in sept 11th

From my own personal experience last cycle, I emailed Brian a couple weeks after the first acceptances were given out expressing my interest in attending and received an acceptance email a couple days later. This week would be a bit too soon in my opinion.

Wow, I'm hoping to be in your shoes then! So when would you recommend to send him an email? (would you suggest an email or a phone call? I thought phone call would be better?) What did you say when you spoke to him as well, as it doesn't seem like he responds at all through email?

Yeah, I had also sent an email before then a few days after my interview telling him I was interested.

I would probably try to email him next week Monday or you could maybe do it early Friday morning. In my email I had simply said that I had been accepted to other programs, but Temple was still my top choice. He got responded to my email within a few hours, so I think email would be a better choice rather than calling. I feel like calling them is too much this early. Just my opinion

Hey,

If anybody's really interested in Temple, my recommendation would be to contact them sooner than later. I hadn't even read this thread, but was interested in Temple, and as everyone else was saying, I decided myself I'd wait to contact them in a while.

What do I receive in my email today? A rejection. Without an interview.

So best of luck to everybody else, and don't lose the chance to show interest/contact like I did!

I guess its just tough to draw the balance between "being annoying" and "showing interest".
