did u guys use Campbell BIO?

I finished taking general biology 1 and 2 last year and I never really used textbook. I believe most of the bio professors I know post class notes on the website and never give u any textbook assignment.

I have campbell 5th and 6th edition by the way.

Today was my first day in cell biology and my professor wants me to buy 7th edition campbell biology 😱

I was expecting to buy cell bio textbook but i guess bio is just bio, they just use bio textbook.

Did u guys use bio textbook when u were in any of the bio classes? I know that different edition matters in some classes that has many assignments like math class that wants u to solve #13 in page 213 or whatever, but I think bio classes don't really matter.

I need to take other bio classes such as animal bio, and wonder if that class is also gonna use "BIOLOGY" textbook, not "animal bio".
