Did anyone take up origami when they were practicing for the PAT or before even starting the DAT study process? Or did they take up some other hand-eye coordination art?
It doesn't hurt to fiddle around with it for a few hours so you can talk about it in an interview. Last year I had this hard-to-please girlfriend and she really wanted an origami flower so I got some instructions off the internet and on my third attempt after an hour I made her a pretty flower. I haven't done any since but I mentioned the story in one or two of my interviews

Oh, yeah, she was already my girlfriend and she was impressed, but when she got it she was in one of her bad moods 😡 (I swear she had a period every week) and eventually the relationship didn't work out anyway.
The couple hours of origami practice was worth it just to be able to say that I had tried it and was successful. It would be a frustrating hobby though.
