When you were hired, did you get a new scope and more importantly were you allowed to request your desired objective quality (ie apo)?

Yes I got to pick my own scope.
Yes I got the desired optics I wanted.

While you may not get a new scope, you should not settle for less than desirable optics (if possible).

No I did not, to either question. I can certainly request things, but it never crossed my mind as I've never had any issues.
