So I am talking to a few technicians that work with me, and some of them are applying to pharmacy school/going through the interview process.

NOT one of their interviews included a lunch! Did anyone here have a lunch included in their interview schedule? What's up with that? As I peruse the other forums in physical therapy and dentistry, their interview schedules are rather lengthy and include a lunch. So much for caring about students when it comes to pharmacy school!

My interview ~12 years ago included a breakfast AND lunch. I guess schools are really trimming the extra costs here?

All my interviews included a snack portion during the welcome and lunch after the interview. During both sessions we were able to mingle with staff.

The only interview I remember had lunch and pastries for breakfast.

No lunches, snacks, or even water bottles for me here. The one private school I applied to gave me a string backpack, T-shirt, and a USB car charger plus a blank theme key. The two public schools gave me nothing besides the information folder and a planner.

I got lunch on 4 of the 5 school I went to that include a light snack/sandwich/lunch tickets. Let me know what school you want to go to specifically so I can tell if they gave out lunch.

Its good to know that public schools have the conscience to keep waste at a minimum. No wonder the tuition is so high at the private colleges. They waste the loan money on meaningless junk.

I only applied, interviewed, and was accepted at my state's flagship college. This was a year ago. I got a bottle of water for the entire interview session. No snacks, no lunch.

Lipscomb and UT: even if they don't give you lunch ...

Freaking Tennessee has the best BBQ restaurants across the state for awesome prices. Good portions too.

I didn't get lunch, but my interview was right after the typical lunch time. Got a bag, a stress ball in the shape of a capsule, hand sanitizer, and a pen. The other school I'm interviewing for does provide lunch, but that's because it's going to be a pretty long day. I was surprised to get anything, to be honest. Figured that was high school/undergrad stuff.

My interviews were about 50/50 on lunch. Ranged from chicken parm catered, to sandwich boxes, to taking us out to a local pizzaria with a bunch of current students. One hosted a pizza party the night before interviews, which I thought was a great way to get a feel for the school in a more casual setting

Two of them just told us where the water fountain was. That was pretty weak

I got lunch at CU Denver and UNC because they were whole day interviews.
I just got snacks at my half day interviews.
EXCEPT UCSF was whole day and only gave kinda terrible snacks. Their schedule was so packed, they barely gave you time to use the restroom. I was slightly traumatized after the experience because of how hungry I was, but I'm going there anyways. Guess they knew they didn't have to feed you to win your heart. Lol.
