What is the difference between buccal and lingual crossbite?
Crossbite is seen relative to mandibular or maxillary arch ?

Crossbite is a non-ideal occlusal relationship.
the occlusion is relative to Maxillary since mandible is the only movable component.

Buccal crossbite would mean mandibular dentition buccal to the maxillary dentition ie buccal cusps of mandibular buccal to buccal cusps of maxillary.

Lingual crossbite would mean buccal cusps lingual to palatal cusps of maxillary.

I guess it is :-

For buccal crossbite:-
Lingual cusp of mandibular posteriors buccal to buccal cusp of max. post- Complete crossbite
If only buccal cusp of mand. posteriors buccal to buccal cusp of max. post- Partial crossbite.
