I am confused between the difference between an AAMC 7 and AAMC 7R test. I've tried searching on this forum, but didn't find anything.

I have a copy which has a cover printed "AAMC Practice Test 7", but the solutions are to AAMC Practice Test 7R. Will these match up? Is there a significant difference between Test 7 and 7R? Should I be concerned that I only have Test 7 instead of 7R???

Thank you for clarifying!

7R solutions booklet? Where did you get it from? I bought test 7 from AAMC with the solutions a couple weeks ago and there is no R at the end. As you may know, test 7 was released last year and the MCAT was revised in 2003, so that's why there's the an R with tests released prior to that time (tests 3-6). I don't see any reason why they would revise test 7...and besides that, I just checked their website and it doesn't say 7R.

See, everyone seems to think it goes 3R-7R. Whatever company your solutions booklet is from, they probably just neglected the fact that 7 hasn't been revised yet and just put R at the end of it like all the others. Most likely it's the correct solutions because as natureboy said...I've never heard of a 7R....just lots of people calling it that 🙂

If you bought the aamc 7 from the aamc website then you would have the 7 test and the 7 solutions booklets... no 7R.
