I have always wondered about this...could someone please explain theh differences..thanks!

no difference. I think DMDs are usually given out on East Coast....DDS on West coast (correct me if I'm wrong)

Harvard was the first to offer the DMD. Some people picked it up. The ADA tries to get everyone to use DDS, but people won't change because of "tradition". There is no difference between the degrees. I personally prefer DDS because thats what I'm gonna have.🙂

CASE WESTERN are in the process of changing from D.D.S. to D.M.D.

So, if u go to CASE, you will be dentist makes dough.

I, prefer to be Dentist Dates Sexy.

  😀 😀

Luminous, you're taking my lines, man.

Anyways, there is no difference. But just preference now a days. I hear people in the Middle of the US want DMD cuz patients go to DMD's more. Just something I heard.
