Is there a difference between these two?

Does someone know the answer to this? Not sure if it is better for me to bump this old post or make a new thread

To me, "dorsal tubular nerve cord" sounds like a complex way of saying spinal cord.

While "neural tube" is the specific name for the embryonic formation which will become the spinal cord.

EDIT: looks like dorsal tubular nerve cord is also an embryonic formation which rules out my explanation. They seem nearly synonymous.

I think that in humans they are synonymous bc our spinal cord forms from the neural tube, which runs dorsally. (This is diff from the notochord)

In arthropods it runs ventrally, so I would think the two are not synonymous in examples like that
