Difference BTW Fellowship and Residency

Does anyone know the difference between a Pharmacy residency and a Pharmacy fellowship?

I know you can do one or the other after you graduate from pharmacy.

Are residencies more geared towards clinical practice and fellowships are more towards academia/research?

And which one pays more?
