Is there a big difference between AEGD programs that are associated with Dental Schools, VA's, and Medical Centers or Hospitals?

Is there a big difference between AEGD programs that are associated with Dental Schools, VA's, and Medical Centers or Hospitals?

Based on no facts whatsoever, I just hear that VA programs are pretty good since most of your treatment plans are pre-approved already and you et to do a ton of prosth/implant/restorative work.
If you have the opportunity, I would say go with the programs affiliated with hospitals/medical centers too if they give you the opportunity to do sedation/GA cases. That's always great exposure.

Talk to current/recent residents, not program directors.
