So at my college there is a class called Chemical Principles I and another called General Chemistry. Both can be taken as credit for the first semester of chemistry before taking the next semester. Now my question is if there is a preference to take one or the other. I looked at the course information for both and they seem to touch on the same concepts. The Chemical Principles I goes a bit more in depth than General Chemistry.

You'll 99% want General Chemistry. You need to look up which of your school's classes fulfill the dental school requirements.

Just some more info: I called UCLA and they said they would accept both 1310 and 1211k. But my peer advisor still says to take 1211k

The nursing students at my college had to take the chemistry principles class. I think it's meant for them and none science majors
