Difference in Kaplan books by year?

Hello everyone,


I am planning on taking the MCAT for the first time in August of 2018 (this upcoming summer) and I was given all of the Kaplan books in PDF form by a friend but they are all from the 2015-2016 year and was wondering if I will be ok using those or if I am better off buying my own set of the 2017-2018 version.


Basically, is there a large difference between 2015-2016 and 2017-2018?
