So, as I embark on the journey to finish my prereqs and hopefully take the MCAT and starting getting applications ready in Spring of 2012, I'm realizing that my grades for my prereqs will be on two different types of grading scales.

The first university I attended used the traditional A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D, D-, F

The university I will be finishing my prereqs at will use the grading scale A, AB, B, BC, C, CD, F

Will this cause me any problems on the AMCAS or hurt my cGPA or sGPA in any way?

Thanks!

No, AMCAS has grade-to-GPA conversion scales that work for both of those grading systems. AB will count as 3.5, for instance. Attending more than one school is routine on AMCAS and won't hurt you.
