Hi guys, applying this cycle,

I have 2 solid science professors writing LOR for me, and I can find another non-science professor if necessary, but have very strong ties with a faculty member with a phd who is the director of a 2 year program I am in focused on community engagement and fighting poverty with education. Do you think he is acceptable for writing my 3rd LOR even though he hasn't technically "taught" me in a classroom?

The requirements for this vary from school to school. I would recommend looking at the websites of each individual school. You can always email or call the admissions office to check if your letter would suffice.
