chicago school of professional psychology is accredited only by National Council of Schools and Programs of Professional Psychology , but not by APA. Does it dramatically decrease chances of getting job?
Please help to make decision

I am somewhat new to this whole process, but I think a lack of APA accreditation is a serious issue. I would suggest looking at their internship placement rates to see how well they do in that department; ie., how many of their grads get internships at APA approved sites.

A school isnt accredited by APA, a program is

If their clinical psychology program is not accredited, then you are putting yourself 3 step behind (interships, post-doc, jobs, licensing, overall bias) from the start. No reason to do that.

The Clinical Psychology Psy.D. program of the Chicago campus of the Chicago School is accredited by APA:

OP has posted four variations of this same question, two on each forum (2 on masters, 2 on doc forum). Received multiple replies--responded to none from what I can see. This appears to be the actual question (from another post):

"Hello
Is it possible to get a job in psychiatric hospital with MFT program not approved by APA ?

Tomasz"

OP has already been told that masters programs aren't APA accredited. Not sure why s/he keeps asking.
