Does anyone know the real deal on calculating your cumulative gpa when you have more than one undergrad transcript? My real problem is that I took a class at my first school and ended up retaking it at the second school so technically both those classes are included into my individual gpa's for both schools. Also, at my second school their policy is that when you retake a class they don't count your original grade into your gpa but do vet schools want you to include those or should you always go by the policy of your actual undergrad school? HELP!!!!! :scared:

I think that might be school dependent. I know at my undergrad institution, they calculated your GPA with the new grade only. I found that when I applied to vet schools, they took an average of both the grades and counted that is the final grade for a class. I think your best bet is contacting whatever schools you're applying to and seeing how they would calculate it. Ultimately, schools will recalculate your GPA anyway once they receive your application, so I would pick the general consensus form what you hear back from the schools you are interested in and go from there.

This thread may help you:

In that thread, there are a list of schools that replace the grade and a list of schools that average the grade. 🙂 As has already been said, the schools will recalculate your GPA their way when they get your application.
